UHURU Kenyatta's SECRET phone calls to RAILA ODINGA

After it became clear that Kibaki and several powerful individuals are grooming Musalia Mudavadi for the presidency, Uhuru Kenyatta's camp went into panic mode. It was all along believed that Kibaki's support and the subsequent state resources were Uhuru's for the taking, but that mentality has in recent days fizzled out, following Mudavadi's action.

Mudavadi has continued to represent Kibaki in various functions, including delivering the president's speech during the burial of Martin Shikuku. Everywhere he goes, he is accorded full state protection, including services of a military chopper.

Initially, it was thought that Mudavadi was being brought into the race solely to prevent Raila from ascending to the presidency by splitting his vote basket, which would then give Uhuru an easy ride to the throne, but it is now emerging that 'Project Mudavadi' was brought into the race with an intention of getting into State House. Apparently, individuals close to the president, namely his private secretary Nick Wanjohi and Nyeri businesswoman, Mary Wambui, realized that Kenyans would gang up against efforts to give them another Kikuyu president.

They calculated that if Uhuru were to go for a runoff with Raila, most of the other tribes would gang up against Uhuru, by virtue of being a Kikuyu, thus giving Raila an easy ride. Armed with such statistics and intelligence from the NSIS, they came up with a fool proof plan, which was to have Mudavadi as a presidential candidate.

The biggest hurdle however, was to pull Mudavadi out of ODM, a task which proved to be next to impossible. For many months, Mudavadi was seduced but not even the promise of an automatic presidential candidature would lure him. So, to add pressure on Mudavadi, Wanjohi and his camp decided to give the deputy premier competition in his Western backyard. They had to plant a 'half sellable' puppet in Western, a move that saw the rise and rise of Eugene Wamalwa.

He was strategically given visibility and power so that Western could see an alternative leader in him. In politics, no politician is ready to welcome a replacement and Mudavadi was no different. When Eugene declared that he was to contest the presidency, Mudavadi's camp was rattled and they had to rethink their strategy. He was now staring at the risk of losing his Western backyard to a newcomer. Whether or not he was aware that Wamalwa was reading from a prepared script, the threat was real and had to be countered. What better way than to vie for the presidency himself, and what better party than the one he is assured of state resources; the one he had all along declined?

Flash forward to the present, Uhuru Kenyatta realized that he is being sidelined, and even his previous 'anytime' gate pass to statehouse reportedly revoked. He is said to be doing everything possible to avoid meeting the people who used him and dumped him at the Hague. During the commemoration of his father's death, he was conspicuously absent. At that time, he had taken a trip to meet his legal team in Europe, before departing for Dubai for a well deserved 'holiday'. However, on his so called vacation, Uhuru was accompanied by close friend and Kikuyu mp, Lewis Nguyai. It is believed that the Dubai trip was just time out, to evaluate and re-strategize his political future.

Soon after the trip, communication between the Deputy Premier and man he deputizes began. During the past few weeks, Citizen weekly paper is reporting that Uhuru and Raila have made several phone calls. Allegedly, the two talk at least twice per week, a situation which never used to happen a few weeks back. Uhuru is said to have briefed Raila before he departed to campaign in Ndhiwa, and Raila made sure that he was welcomed well. Raila also made a phone call to Uhuru before going to Kangema. Unlike other calls, Raila treats Uhuru's very seriously, and anytime he is in the midst of people, he excuses himself to take it privately.

This new found friendship is in bid to counter Mudavadi, whom they see as a project out to prevent both of them from getting to State House. It will be interesting to watch how events unfold.

How To Get Rid Of Sexual Weakness

Sexual weakness could be related to erectile dysfunction (inability to obtain a full erection) or premature ejaculation (reaching the orgasm too fast). It is a common issue with many men and was considered a taboo before, but with a right treatment things can be easily worked out. Causes for any sexual weakness could be physical like sexually transmitted diseases, nervous debility, hypertension, diabetes, hormonal disorders, alcohol abuse or other drug abuse, enlarged prostate and certain medications or non-physical like any psychological problems, depression, anxiety, stress, guilt or trauma. For an accurate treatment it is very important to rule out any cause for sexual weakness. Besides keep the following tips in mind to improve your sexual weakness over the time:
  • Perform kegel exercise to strengthen the pelvic muscles. For this contract your buttocks for a second as though you are tying to stop or delay a bowel movement and then leave. Repeat 10-15 times per session and several times a day.
  • Say good words to your partner, praise her body, some foreplay before the main event would also help a lot to keep a penis erect.
  • Avoid keeping too long gaps between your sexual acts and learn to have control over your body by stimulating your penis till it reaches the stage of ejaculation then stopping it. Repeat the process until you learn to control your erection and ejaculation.
  • Don't exercise before a sexual activity, as it would simply draw the blood away from penis to the organs which are used in exercise.
  • Relax. Think positive. Avoid smoking. Have a balanced meal which is low in fats and cholesterol and exercise regularly to maintain good health.

Esther Arunga spills the beans on Hellon Season 2

Well you thought Esther had uncovered all of Hellon’s secrets last time on her letter; you’ve got another thing coming……Take a look at this…….
NEWS ALERT: PEELING BACK THE SAXOMASK CREEPY BIBLEMAN: HELLON IS AN INCEST OFFENDER TOO!
“Hold it right there! To all of you haters dwelling in my life for the first time I will challenge to show how happier your lives are at your domiciles. Must I always prove to you of my well-being?
On another note, I am a duly registered Barrister of New South Wales here in Australia and am a legal dexterous. Will you stop your FOGgy-style rumors by misleading Kenyans that my husband tortures me?

Many politicians and senior members in the Police Service communicate with me on a regular basis. You should be worried because I have handed over the authenticated clips to them. My number is mine and according to the Australian Communications Act 1997. You cannot abuse a spouse in Australia, neglect that saxophone and study a bush side law to be sentient of. I am always communicating with my friends back in Kenya and also online. Which Timberlake is that? And when does he control my phone? Stop misleading Kenyans because you are wicked and an expert in manipulating church members.
Aren’t you the one who claimed back in 2010 on Capital Bench hosted by Jeff Koinange that you knew Benny Hinn 7 years before my husband arrived? Stop messing about with the term presidency because you do it for hype.
I can still confirm 110% that you’re gay. If you’re not gay, tell Kenyans why your father in-law separated you from your wife temporarily after she came home on a jazz night and caught you pants down with Mr Smiley!! You came to me for help. Which means you asked me to soften your wife’s rage, and I brought her back home! If that child is yours, show Kenyans proof of DNA results with you being the biological father. Be a man and stop defending yourself with these words when under scrutiny, “you can ask my wife”…defend yourself and avoid drawing your spouse in to your own battles!! Answer my questions.
You used me for your illicit trade. I was supposed to take my dad to SA world cup 2010, you conned me out of a total of Ksh 2.5M, supposedly for “investment” and bought yourself the cars your driving today. Ksh 500,000 you used for your music recordings. What about if the former FOG members can confirm against you that you on one Sunday confessed that before you got saved you actually committed incest with your sisters and cousins? One of them is called Nelly but now married and living in Gachie. Prove to Kenyans that you did not. You also committed incest crime with your niece currently living in your house. But you keep on threatening them not to give any information as you did with Veronica Agape. Even a group female CID officers confirmed to me in March of 2011 after the FOG case that Veronica confirmed to them that she was scared of the threats you made to her.
We’re preparing clips here in Australia to humiliate you and that’s when you shall stop taking your diminutivity to those petty circus rooms which gives you air time to launch your attacks on us. Kenyans will finally differentiate between Kayole and Australia. But, must we confirm where we are? So what if it is Kayole? So what even if we’re languishing in impecuniousness?
On presidency: If it were not for my husband, who could have known you desperate publicity seeker? He sold your name all over the country driving you all night and day from Mombasa to Kapkatet in the Rift Valley. You even got to meet Hon Ruto, Moi and the rest, who knew you?? He was selfless at least to put you ahead of him, what money did you have by then to go round the country? And that driver of yours called Joel, has he reported to the police how his former girlfriend died mysteriously? Where is his daughter? He should come out clean and you people should stop misleading others.
Show Kenyans your brothers’ KCSE certificates if you really took them to school. Hellon, we need evidence and stop parroting and misleading Kenyans. Stop bribing those petty fool hardies in the 4th estate to give you air time, approach mainstream media. Jeff Koinange and Jimmy Gathu are ready to challenge you. Carry all documents and the police should be on alert should you produce charlatan raga muffin.
By the way, it is me Esther ready to tackle you head on. My husband doesn’t know you and I will fight for him to the end. Stop evading me, are you scared of me? This is woman’s power at work. First of all, clear my demands first. I want you to be a man enough and carry all the evidence I have requested and before they ask you, produce them in your capacity. This is not 2010 where you were just creating things off head and misleading the media, this is proof time.
I am just beginning to peel you back. Remember when you were hosted by Jeff Koinange, what did you tell 40 million Kenyans about Benny Hinn? That you had known him for 7 years before my husband came. It is recorded and could be used against you in court of law. You also told Kenyans my husband is your childhood friend, suddenly you changed that you only saw him in 2010. And what about that piece of land their late grandfather gave you at Kokuro, does it bear your name? You are busy bragging about your wealth and your home is full of semi-permanent houses??
Forward the report of post mortem of your child’s demise. Kenyans must know this, what happened Hellon?? You beat your wife for failing to attend a jazz night’s show at Alliance Francaise where she was supposed to blow oboe. An evidence of your heavy wife blowing oboe and too fatigued is available.
Why can’t he produce that Mercedes Benz’s log book to the public? The M 110 W 126 S series that his main right man Samuel Onyango Nyanjom who stole on his behalf, has he completed its duty and cleared it with the KRA?
Women like Pauline whom he perform religious virginity tests, has he apologized to them? Can he explain to the public whether those angels were really talking to him or he was misleading the whole to access women’s private parts? What is spiritual virginity test? Can’t he explain? Can’t he explain how he was testing them? Why did he lash every other woman who resisted the tests with belt?
Stop masquerading yourself for TV/newspapers seeking empathy from Kenyans. That Timberlake you’re warbling about all the time let’s say should he come out, will you even have the audacity to look straight in to his eye balls???????????? Just roger that in the due course and remember, he is not the same defenseless person he was in 2010. Concentrate on your lives and spare a circus. If you want cling on public domain, seek license and begin a foundation to help the needy or open a children’s home.”
Well the drama never cease……………….

9 Beliefs of Remarkably Successful People

1. Time doesn't fill me. I fill time.

Deadlines and time frames establish parameters, but typically not in a good way. The average person who is given two weeks to complete a task will instinctively adjust his effort so it actually takes two weeks.
Forget deadlines, at least as a way to manage your activity. Tasks should only take as long as they need to take. Do everything as quickly and effectively as you can. Then use your "free" time to get other things done just as quickly and effectively.
Average people allow time to impose its will on them; remarkable people impose their will on their time.

2. The people around me are the people I chose.
Some of your employees drive you nuts. Some of your customers are obnoxious. Some of your friends are selfish, all-about-me jerks.
You chose them. If the people around you make you unhappy it's not their fault. It's your fault. They're in your professional or personal life because you drew them to you--and you let them remain.
Think about the type of people you want to work with. Think about the types of customers you would enjoy serving. Think about the friends you want to have.
Then change what you do so you can start attracting those people. Hardworking people want to work with hardworking people. Kind people like to associate with kind people. Remarkable employees want to work for remarkable bosses.
Successful people are naturally drawn to successful people.

3. I have never paid my dues.
Dues aren't paid, past tense. Dues get paid, each and every day. The only real measure of your value is the tangible contribution you make on a daily basis.
No matter what you've done or accomplished in the past, you're never too good to roll up your sleeves, get dirty, and do the grunt work.  No job is ever too menial, no task ever too unskilled or boring.
Remarkably successful people never feel entitled--except to the fruits of their labor.

4. Experience is irrelevant. Accomplishments are everything.
You have "10 years in the Web design business." Whoopee. I don't care how long you've been doing what you do. Years of service indicate nothing; you could be the worst 10-year programmer in the world.
I care about what you've done: how many sites you've created, how many back-end systems you've installed, how many customer-specific applications you've developed (and what kind)... all that matters is what you've done.
Successful people don't need to describe themselves using hyperbolic adjectives like passionate, innovative, driven, etc. They can just describe, hopefully in a humble way, what they've done.

5. Failure is something I accomplish; it doesn't just happen to me.
Ask people why they have been successful. Their answers will be filled with personal pronouns: I, me, and the sometimes too occasional we.
Ask them why they failed. Most will revert to childhood and instinctively distance themselves, like the kid who says, "My toy got broken..." instead of, "I broke my toy."
They'll say the economy tanked. They'll say the market wasn't ready. They'll say their suppliers couldn't keep up.
They'll say it was someone or something else.
And by distancing themselves, they don't learn from their failures.
Occasionally something completely outside your control will cause you to fail. Most of the time, though, it's you. And that's okay. Every successful person has failed. Numerous times. Most of them have failed a lot more often than you. That's why they're successful now.
Embrace every failure: Own it, learn from it, and take full responsibility for making sure that next time, things will turn out differently.

6. Volunteers always win.
Whenever you raise your hand you wind up being asked to do more.
That's great. Doing more is an opportunity: to learn, to impress, to gain skills, to build new relationships--to do something more than you would otherwise been able to do.
Success is based on action. The more you volunteer, the more you get to act. Successful people step forward to create opportunities.
Remarkably successful people sprint forward.

7. As long as I'm paid well, it's all good.
Specialization is good. Focus is good. Finding a niche is good.
Generating revenue is great.
Anything a customer will pay you a reasonable price to do--as long as it isn't unethical, immoral, or illegal--is something you should do. Your customers want you to deliver outside your normal territory? If they'll pay you for it, fine. They want you to add services you don't normally include? If they'll pay you for it, fine. The customer wants you to perform some relatively manual labor and you're a high-tech shop? Shut up, roll 'em up, do the work, and get paid.
Only do what you want to do and you might build an okay business. Be willing to do what customers want you to do and you can build a successful business.
Be willing to do even more and you can build a remarkable business.
And speaking of customers...

8. People who pay me always have the right to tell me what to do.
Get over your cocky, pretentious, I-must-be-free-to-express-my-individuality self. Be that way on your own time.
The people who pay you, whether customers or employers, earn the right to dictate what you do and how you do it--sometimes down to the last detail.
Instead of complaining, work to align what you like to do with what the people who pay you want you to do.
Then you turn issues like control and micro-management into non-issues.

9. The extra mile is a vast, unpopulated wasteland.
Everyone says they go the extra mile. Almost no one actually does. Most people who go there think, "Wait... no one else is here... why am I doing this?" and leave, never to return.
That's why the extra mile is such a lonely place.
That's also why the extra mile is a place filled with opportunities.
Be early. Stay late. Make the extra phone call. Send the extra email. Do the extra research. Help a customer unload or unpack a shipment. Don't wait to be asked; offer. Don't just tell employees what to do--show them what to do and work beside them.
Every time you do something, think of one extra thing you can do--especially if other people aren't doing that one thing. Sure, it's hard.
But that's what will make you different.
And over time, that's what will make you incredibly successful.

PWANI NI KENYA

“O God of all creation, bless this land and nation. Justice be our shield and defender, may we dwell in unity, Peace and liberty. Plenty be found within our borders.

These are the words of our national anthem. Going through this creative piece of all time, you come to realize the love, respect and dream the composers had for this great nation. The dream that Kenya will always be peaceful and one. Kenya has come a long way and being forty eight years old, so much has been achieved (that is if we compare her with other worst states in Africa).

We have faced very many challenges in the hands of our founding fathers. Some of which are detestable, to say the least. Landlessness, due to land grabbing, assassinations by the government in power, nepotism, tribalism and all other ‘isms’ we could ever have.

Did you know that there is a whole county (17,128.3 km2) in Kenya, whose land is being owned by only two individuals who do not even live there? The sad part is, all the residents are squatters in their ancestral land. Sometimes back, it was revealed that 89% of the board members in Kenya Ports Authority belonged to one ethnic community. This begs the question; don’t other communities have professionals who would be appointed equally in those positions? The strategy was to appoint one community in key ministries so as to ensure they seat in the various boards in our parastatals.

All these, and many other injustices bring about the formation of movements and gangs such as Mombasa Republican Council, with an aim of ‘liberating’ their people. I understand. What I don’t understand is whether secession is the solution. “Pwani si Kenya” amounts to treason.  Let us sought out legitimate issues legitimately and illegitimate ones appropriately. We all know “Pwani ni Kenya” and there are many coastal people who believe in this. No matter how loud the contrary voice might be, we all know the truth. I believe there are better ways to put across a point and be heard than calling for secession. It is unfortunate that the media, clearly familiar with what the country stands to lose, should they secede, gives them so much airtime. I thought the media should be neutral and also show the flipside of this whole issue. What is worrying is the new development that MRC is recruiting children in to the movement, issuing them with identity cards and administering an oath to them. Have we forgotten how many renown African leaders in Uganda, Somalia, Sudan, Cote D’ivore, Chad and Burundi, used child soldiers in wars and the repercussions? Where are their mothers? I thought ‘uchungu wa mwana aujuaye ni mamaye.’ This is criminal.

This is not a failed state, and I strongly believe the government can do what is necessary to avert such a menace. The constitution allows or gives us freedom of expression. We can debate on issues as we find solutions. If anything, this is as a result of negligence by the successive governments we’ve had. Like I wrote in one of my previous articles, can Uhuru Kenyatta, who wants the country and the whole world to believe he is the people’s choice (the leader we’ve never had) engage his family in ensuring the Taita Taveta land is given back to the ‘real owners?’ Can President Mwai Kibaki invite the MRC leaders in the statehouse to feel the beauty and importance of being Kenyans as they discuss how to solve their problems once and for all? I know this can never happen due to some selfish interests that surround the presidency. No wonder one side of the government was quick to brand them ‘illegal.’ This is a jigger that only Kenyans (you and me) can unite and remove with the power of the vote.

Secession, in my opinion, is cowardice. They are running away fro the problem, instead of tackling them head on. This makes you earn the honour in the better end. We are reminded to never give up on our quest for a better life. MRC should understand, that the national government is not solely to blame for their backwardness. Why do they elect leaders to the National Assembly? These leaders have failed them in a big way. We have very vocal leaders like Chirau Ali Mwakwere alias Zipapa zipapa, Dan Mwazo, Najib Balala, and many others, who should be championing their development causes. Why are they silent on the issue? Or they have a hand in it? If not, there should be a complete overhaul. Mr. MRC chairman, vie for governorship and change the county. With this small task, the people can entrust you with a bigger one.

As I wind up to start a long road trip to Masaai Mara: how beautiful Kenya is, always remember, PWANI NI KENYA.

EXCLUSIVE: Mudavadi suddenly becomes super Rich

Friday June 8, 2012 - MM's rise in 'power' and wealth has in the recent past caught JATELO TODAY'S eye. Last week the Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi was spotted with a brand new acquired custom made Armored Range Rover machine worth Sh 40 million. But that was just a tip of an iceberg to what the DPM is now worth.

Sources close to the DPM have revealed to the JATELO TODAY that, Mudavadi has also acquired a new custom made Toyota VX Lexus worth Sh 36 million. The car has bullet proofed body, mirrors and all terrain run flat tyres.

Although the two cars are regularly in his convoy, the DPM does not use them when entering the venues of his rallies instead opting for a cheaper green Toyota Prado, KBR last used by Kimunya when he entered the TNA launch's VIP dais almost a month ago. The two newly acquired cars are KBR series registration.

Mudavadi's new ride (Pictured below) is secured from a 7.62mm calibre bullet, landmine and grenade explosions. It can also withstand a blast similar to the one at Assanands House recently. For intruders who may be on foot, electric shock will keep them away. It comes complete with a heavy duty suspension, adjustable shock absorbers and special alloy 18-inch wheels

Many political analysts and pundits have tried to unearth whether Mudavadi is “somebody’s project”.

The question may have been answered partly on Friday during the Madaraka Day Celebrations in Nyayo Stadium, when he (Mudavadi) was accorded a rare task of inviting President Mwai Kibaki to address the nation.

Also, Mudavadi after the Madaraka celebrations, he was flown with a military helicopter to his home town in Sabatia constituency, a thing he enjoyed last in 2002, when he was in KANU.

Mudavadi’s security detail has also been beefed up in his homes in Nairobi and Mululu.

“The DPM has been given additional five security guards from presidential elite guards who are accompanying him at all tours,” the source said.

Mudavadi’s motorcade has also increased with a fully armoured military van at his disposal equivalent to the Vice President’s motorcade.

Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi has yet again raised eyebrows after representing President Kibaki at an official function yet the president's principal deputy Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka was in the country.

The big question is; is Mudavadi president Kibaki’s project?

Uhuru's spokesman beaten up by an MP

Friday May 25, 2012 - Uhuru's spokesman was on Sunday beaten up by an MP from Central Kenya after he drank himself silly and abused patrons at a city pub.

Trouble started   after this guy started bragging how he will buy a Range Rover if Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta wins the presidency and started infuriating revelers who had joined the celebration.

It is at one instance; the man grabbed one of the female patrons and started uncovering her “short dress”. This saw him receive a dog’s beating after the MP was infuriated by his behavior.

Later the bouncers at the club also joined with kicks and blows as they frog-matched the man out of the pub.

The spokesman sustained minor facial injuries and after recuperating at his home in Woodley, he is said to be in stable condition to work.

I BELIEVE NOT

When I think about the world I would like to leave to my children and the grandchildren I hope to have, it is a world that moves away from unequal, unpeaceful, unstable, unsustainable interdependence to integrated communities that share the characteristics of all successful communities. I would like to live behind a nation that tribe isn't the criterion used to offer opportunities. A world where region does not determine the kind of service be given. An equality sensitive society free from nepotism.

Many times we engage in political discourse assuming everyone is at par with one another regarding their knowledge or understanding of our country’s history in general and political history in particular. This is actually not the case and helps explain why people are constantly talking past each other, especially in the Kenyan social fora and networks.

Of particular concern, is the ridicule and disrespect many of our heroes and heroines are subjected to by a generation which we can condemn for their disrespecting these heroes and heroines but the reality is those doling the ridicule and disrespect actually have no clue who the people they insult or disrespect are or what their contribution has been in both the first and second liberation of our country.

If they are not old enough to have witnessed the struggles and sacrifices by these heroes and heroines, one would expect they had to have learned about them in our school system for I doubt bad as our education system might be, one cannot surely graduate from it beyond primary school without knowing these basic facts about our country such as who our heroes and heroines are and why they deserve the honor and respect, not the insults and abuse these uninformed individuals hurl at them.

Granted, a vast majority of people merely parrot what they have heard others saying without any critical examination of the information; in fact, without any examination of the validity or truthfulness of the information at all and to hear them authoritatively repeat the nonsense, you’ll be confused to believe they know what they are talking about when they, in fact, don’t have a clue.

When a true reformist and hero of the Second Liberation such as Hon. Gitobu Imanyara is accosted by thugs and ordered at gun point to pledge his allegiance to Uhuru Kenyatta and so reports in our Parliament, one would surely expect event those who for one reason or another don’t like him or even hate him would have to pause and wonder whether there is not something wrong here.

The well respected reformist Imanyara is no coward or pushover neither is he one prone to seek publicity through antics like crying wolf as some have spitefully suggested in these fora.

Anyone who knows him or anything about our country’s history, even if limited only to the Second Liberation would know Imanyara is one of those who was right up there standing against Moi and his regime without fear.

Ditto for heroes like Raila Amolo Odinga and many others who have been the subjects of torture and abuse all because of their desire to have a better Kenya with the freedoms we now enjoy thanks to them but others are thanking them by belittling and trashing their efforts while insulting and saying hateful things precisely because of those freedoms the Railas helped acquire for them, which is both mean and bizarre.

Ironically but true, many of those leading in insulting and trashing of our heroes and heroines in the reform efforts are people who cannot account for even an iota of a thing they have done for our country, let alone any sacrifice they have made but they are quick to laugh and belittle Imanyara’s in the latest example for his letting the public know of a life and death experience he is lucky to be alive to tell us about.

Do these people have no heart? What accounts for the callousness of some of these people? It can’t even be hate for I can’t think of any reason why anyone would hate Imamara to the point they would laugh and belittle what smacks of an assassination attempt on his life!

While the extent of it is not known, there is clearly a growing callousness among Kenyans fueled by politicians who are always stoking tribal animosity and hatred for their own individual benefit yet, those enabling them are not the uneducated masses or those who otherwise are uninformed but, quite shockingly and pathetically so, the enablers are the very educated and enlightened among us.

Why? Why would these people who are educated and informed be hell-bent on enabling tribalists and haters in our country? What perverted satisfaction do they derive from such backwardness and thinking?

It surely cannot be any tangible gain for many stand to gain not a penny when the tribalists succeed in using them to gain power much as the hapless youth often used in political violence don’t gain but the pennies to the shilling they may momentarily gain in their induced barbaric acts in support of those who would exploit them.

But the so-called Kenyan professionals or otherwise educated Kenyans proactively engaged in, or allowing themselves to be used in cheer-leading the haters and dividers; why do they do so?

It makes absolutely no sense and is simply horrifying the fact we have people like this amongst us!
We really, seriously need to pray for our country for if these people do not wake up and smell the coffee, it’s going to be that much difficult to move our country forward to the much anticipated dawn of true peace and prosperity we deserve after all these many wasted years of independence.

It is so shameful that a person can stand on the podium, copy paste a speech and try to entice us with promises of addressing social injustices if elected president, when in-fact, these injustices brought about the wealth he so much enjoys. If we are not familiar with these injustices, they are, among them:
·         Landlessness due to land grabbing by Kenyatta, Moi and the kinds
·         Detention without trial of the renown liberators (among them Raila Odinga)
·           Assassinations (e.g. Robert Ouko, tom Mboya, Prof. Mbai, among others)
·      Segregation of some communities that were, apparently, not in power (North Eastern, Coast, Western, Luo Nyanza, etc)

Did you know that majority of dwellers in Taita Taveta are squatters in their ancestral land? To address this Uhuru Kenyatta should simply call a family meeting and surrender the title deeds to these people, whom he hopes they vote for him.

The good news is, a vast majority of Kenyans are now more progressive or moving in that direction and reject all this backwardness and willful ignorance which must be shunned by all who care about our beloved country if we are to stand proud to be called the Kenyans we are.

In other words, stand on the side of those who would make our country once again a country to be proud of and a shining star in the continent, if not the world which by definition means shedding tribalism, hate and all other manner of behavior that divides instead of uniting us as Kenyans.

This I believe

Better The Devil You Know Than The Angel You Don't Know

The saying that goes,"Better The Devil You Know Than The Angel You Don't Know" has been with us since our time age. Most of us fail to apply this saying in our life time when challenge is on dot.The notable man who failed to hid to the applications of this saying is Kenyan Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi. In this instance, the "Devil" he knew was Prime Minister Raila Odinga/ODM and the "Angels " he don't know are DPM Uhuru Kenyatta and Hon William Ruto/The G7 Fraternity.
Hon.Musalia Mudavadi is now cornered and headed to political oblivion. The major aim of G7 to sweet talk Hon Musalia Mudavadi from ODM was non other than to weaken PM Railaa Odinga. It might have worked but it has complicated matters for G7 coz their compromise candidate Hon Musalia Mudavadi is gonna be rendered irrelevant simply because, the Hague proceedings will not hinder DPM Uhuru Kenyatta and Hon.William Samoei Ruto from contesting the Kenya's Presidency. In this case, the presidential race will definitely go to run off between PM Raila Odinga and DPM Uhuru Kenyatta, and it is at this point when Kenyans eyes shall be wide open.DPM Uhuru Kenyatta will loose to PM Raila Odinga coz,due to historical injustices,Kamatusa,Luhyas and Coast population will not vote for a Gema candidate.DPM Musalia Mudavadi failed to read in between the lines when Kamatusa and Gema said,"If Uhuru and Ruto are not in the race, they will back him" The begging question Hon Musalia Mudavadi failed to crack was,why "IF?"

EXCLUSIVE: A PNU cabinet Minister infected me with HIV/AIDS

EXCLUSIVE: A PNU cabinet Minister infected me with HIV/AIDS

Jatelo

Disclaimer: Please sit down before reading this real life story ordeal narrated to the Kenya DAILY POST.
Elizabeth Wanjiru ‘Shiro’ is a young lady whose life history has unfolded in a way she never envisioned. 2007 was a big year for her. She was a young, beautiful, healthy, perfectly endowed and charismatic student at the University of Nairobi. Her zeal and ambition in life was overflowing.
Elizabeth was quite vocal and active in campus politics. An avenue that her fellow female mates refrained from. She pushed for agendas and actively participated in motions in the university’s political sphere. This made the then Secretary General of SONU, G.G Kariuki notice her.
Kariuki approached her with a proposal. He wanted to have her in a project dubbed as ‘Vijana na Kibaki’ - an initiative aiming at conglomerating the youth in support of Kibaki’s second presidential bid. The young individuals were meant to advocate for the president to have a second term in office and in reward were flooded with hefty allowances. Shiro like many other University students survived on a shoe string budget. Making some cash outside the pocket money she received from home sounded like the ideal plot.
She was the only female in the 8 member group. Her presence in the group was meant to alter the composition of the group to seem like it was gender sensitive. The group kicked off with a lot of vigour. Days flew. Contacts were made. Her presence was felt….
*……*…..*……*…..*
One day, a youth meeting was held at the PNU headquarters bringing together diverse campus representatives. The meeting was only meant for those in PNU’s pay roll. In attendance were individuals such as Sylvester Kweyu , the then Kenyatta University Students Union (KUSA) chairman. Additionally, Mike who was a Secretary General of one of the Universities was also in the congregation.
The meeting went on well until KU’s Mwenda Gitobu noticed that Mike was in the congregation. He shot up halting the meeting, firing accusations that the meeting had been sabotaged by ODM snitches.
Note:  At the time, bad blood was precipitating between ODM and PNU. The situation was nasty with some individuals swearing to die to keep their partisan loyalty alive.
A scuffle mushroomed between the two groups causing chaos in the area. The meeting was being held at a house next to the DOD (Department of Defence ) along Lenana Road, where the PNU HQ’s were located. Other executive officials of the party were in attendance and were situated in an office just opposite the press area where the youth were. A trail down the headquarters led to some rented external public toilets.
Having heard the noise made from the scuffle, a powerful PNU Cabinet Minister came to calm the situation down. Since time immemorial, the Minister has always held top respected positions in Government. His influential nature calmed the situation down.
Shiro in a bid to ease the chaos tension, walked down to the loos to relieve herself. Coincidentally, Mheshimiwa also headed to the ‘Public loos’ to take a breather. There, he met the beautiful Shiro and introduced himself. The two gave each other their compliments and exchanged numbers. A friendship bond was formed. Little did she know that this friendship would grow to something more.
*…..*……*……*…..
Shiro forged a head viewing that the meeting with the Minister was just but a contact she had created. The  following week she attended a PNU meeting at Manor house situated in Manor Lane in Karen.(Manor is a posh exclusive avenue where a fairy tale wedding was once conducted by Kiss 100 as a reward to its avid listeners. ) The group of 8 campus representatives spent the night there. However, on the day that the group was meant to leave, the PNU Cabinet Minister called up Elizabeth. He told her that he had sent his driver to pick her up as he longed to see her again.
True to his word, he sent an exquisite limousine that drove her to the Serena Hotel where the two had late lunch and spent some time getting familiar with each another.  They continued their rendezvous and sooner than later they became more than friends.
Years passed. Kibaki retained his position as the president of the Republic. The Post Election Violence almost consumed the country. By the time the situation had calmed down, Elizabeth was through with campus. Hungry for a job, she consulted the Mheshimiwa who through his influence got her a job at Kenya Re-Insurance. Shiro was not the type to date young men who she deemed to be immature. She now had herself a rich sponsor (Mheshimiwa) who bought her a lavish car and a beautiful apartment in Nairobi’s South B area. How to spend money was what the big question for her now. Her love life with Mheshimiwa flourished….
However, in 2010 she began falling ill. A cold wouldn’t leave her side. One day as she was driving from her parent’s house in Thika suburbs, she decided to check in St. Francis Hospital in Mwiki. The doctors carried tests on her and after taking her blood samples found out that she was HIV positive. She was shocked beyond belief. She had been faithful to Mheshimiwa, had he returned the favour? No. Intriguingly, he was quite aware of his health status and had kept it a secret. He had ruined her years of hard work and spiked her future.
Late last year she called Classic 105 Breakfast show and narrated her ordeal to Maina Kageni and King’ang’i in the morning. As she spoke one would tell that she was engraved in so much pain. Her conclusion in the show was simple, if she went back in time, she would never hook up with the Minister. In her words she says, “He gave me everything that mattered then, but took away everything that I need now…”
“We live and we learn….To take one step at a time. There’s no need to rush. It’s like learning to fly, or falling in love. It’s gonna happen when it’s supposed to happen. And we find the reasons why. One step at a time….” These are lyrics of a song by RnB artist Jordin Sparks that Shiro wishes she listened to years back.
Elizabeth Wanjiru has vowed to go public in 2013 (After elections) and tell her story even name the Minister. She aims at campaigning against the animosity that influential politicians subject innocent girls to.
We at the DAILY POST thank her for giving us the exclusive interview at 680 Hotel in town. We will continue supporting her emotionally.
All the best Shiro
